Commission Work
I really enjoy taking on commissioned work, and love to discuss the details of your envisioned painting. Whether you have a vision for the perfect piece or just an idea of what you like. Feel free to contact me with any questions to obtain a unique piece of art just for you!
THE COMMISSION PROCESS
- An initial consultation via email or telephone explores your vision for the piece. We will discuss the details of what you have in mind regarding subject, style, and size, and a preliminary price estimate will be provided.
- Examples of paintings, “sketches” ( composition and color studies) will be provided to work out exactly what you have in mind. Once a final composition/image is agreed, an estimated timeline and payment schedule is determined.
- A 50% installment is required once the paint application begins.
- Upon completion, and approval by yourself, the final payment is due before the piece can be delivered or shipped to you.
Note: I paint primarily from photo references and am open to exploring any photos you may have of places, animals and people that are special to you. Generally there is no limit when it comes to size and format of the painting. Price is based primarily on size of painting and complexity of subject. Shipping is an additional cost and will be determined when the piece is packed, measured, and weighed. Pricing will vary depending on the final destination, and an estimated shipping cost can be discussed before it is shipped. I will be sure to find the best rates possible while also ensuring your piece is safely packed.
